Field Engineer - NL

WHAT IS YOUR CHALLENGE

In the position of Field Engineer you carry out electrical installation and assembly work, often at a project location in the Netherlands, but also abroad.

The work consists of the construction of maritime installations. Think of control cabinets / switch and control panels. You lay cables and do connection and wiring work and all related work to this.

You carry out your work in accordance with the instructions and established regulations. You also prepare your work, collect the necessary materials and tools and check for their presence. You will be in close contact with your manager for the progress of the project.

THIS YOU BRING
  • A completed education in the direction of Electrical engineering
  • You have several years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Some knowledge of commissioning installations is an advantage
  • You can read and interpret drawings independently
  • A valid VCA Basic Safety certificate
  • You have good communication skills and you master the  English language in word and writing

  • You are flexible and willing to travel regularly at home and abroad
  • You work disciplined and accurately
  • You have a sense of responsibility and show initiative
  • You are customer-oriented and problem-solving
  • You have a drivers license

We work under the Collective Labor Agreement for Metal and Technology. You will receive a salary in line with the market and you are entitled to travel allowance, 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days. You will also be registered with the Pension Fund Foundation for the 'Metaal & Techniek' and you will have the opportunity to participate in the collective health insurance. You will have access to a mobile phone.

Your own children can claim a contribution towards the study costs from our study fund. If you want to follow a training or course, we reimburse these costs from our study costs regulations.
