Electrifying an icon in the Caribbean!
We are proud to contribute to a truly iconic project: the renovation and electrification of the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.
We’re happy to share our latest collaboration with Alfen! Together, we built this cutting-edge energy storage system from beginning to end.
During the planning phase, we tackled challenges around lead time, labor, durability, and quality, creating an efficient solution.
After, the skids are galvanized to enhance their durability and prevent rust, ensuring they can support 56 tons.
Each skid will house Alfen batteries with a total capacity of 40 MWh—enough to power your home and those of 12 neighbors for a year, using renewable wind energy! This system balances the high-voltage grid by storing surplus energy and providing backup when needed.
With durable skids, expert installation, and Alfen’s top-tier batteries, we’re proud to contribute to a more sustainable future. Thanks to Alfen for their trust—here’s to many more innovative projects together!

Once again, we celebrated our annual Christmas get-together last week, this time not with a traditional dinner, but with a festive late lunch. Somewhere between lunch and dinner, a “linner” (or “dunch”), if you will.
