Electrifying an icon in the Caribbean!
We are proud to contribute to a truly iconic project: the renovation and electrification of the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Royal Van der Leun is excited to announce our collaboration with Baggerbedrijf De Boer (Dutch Dredging) and Royal IHC on the construction of the Lesse +, a 2,300m³ trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD).
This vessel, an upgrade of the original Lesse delivered in 2019, is designed to meet the latest IMO Tier III - Euro Stage V environmental standards.
With our factory in Hai Phong, Vietnam, located just a stone’s throw from the construction site, we are well-positioned to deliver this project efficiently. Our deep-rooted experience in Vietnam and extensive knowledge of maritime engineering ensure that we can contribute significantly to the success of this advanced dredger.
We are proud to contribute to a truly iconic project: the renovation and electrification of the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Royal Van der Leun has been awarded the contract for the complete electrical installation package of a Beagle® 10.2 trailing suction hopper dredger, developed by Royal IHC for The Dutra Group.
Once again, we celebrated our annual Christmas get-together last week, this time not with a traditional dinner, but with a festive late lunch. Somewhere between lunch and dinner, a “linner” (or “dunch”), if you will.
