Electrifying an icon in the Caribbean!
We are proud to contribute to a truly iconic project: the renovation and electrification of the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.
We had the honour to receive the Ambassador and Counsellor of the Vietnam Embassy in the Hague at the Royal Van der Leun headquarters in Sliedrecht.
Ambassador Mr. Ngo Huong Nam and Counsellor Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Diep took the time and got a
presentation by CEO Martin den Breejen and Account Manager Lennart Ames about our company.
Afterwards our colleagues, accompanied with Manager Sales Stefan van der Leun, showed Mr. Nam and Ms. Diep our facilities, including highlights as: our upgraded EMS, busy workshops, our newly developed app Scio, the beautiful model ships of successful projects, the solarboat of TU Delft and of course we concluded the tour posing by the hoisted Vietnamese flag.
Our connection with Vietnam is strong. Next year we will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Van der Leun Vietnam, and we will have a grand opening of the brand-new facility. Something we’re very proud of!
We like to thank Mr. Nam and Ms. Diep for their time and shown interests in our businesses.
