They're out the door! These two custom-made seawater inlet filters (DN800) are important components for the cooling water systems of a large hopper dredger. The two DN800s were made in the workshop of Van der Leun Metaalbewerking.
To increase durability, the filter housings are provided with a special corrosion-resistant coating and on the inside and equipped with durable HDPE filters. These filters guarantee optimal performance and protection in a demanding environment, essential for the cooling water system of the impressive ship.
These units are pressure-tested before and after conservation at the maximum working pressure. This allows us to see whether the material meets the requirements and whether our professionals have finished everything accurately to the millimetre. Proud of our craftsmanship and our contribution to this maritime powerhouse!
