The program commenced with a warm welcome and an informal gathering, followed by a series of captivating performances, speeches, a tour, and a delightful dinner party, all infused with the Vietnamese culture.

Subsequently, Martin den Breejen, CEO of Royal Van der Leun, took the stage, sharing the narrative behind the establishment of this branch,

With special emphasis on the fundamental role played by General Manager Diep Hoang in bringing his vision to Realization. As a token of appreciation for her dedication and steadfast leadership, Haong Diep was presented with a magnificent artwork by Martin, handcrafted by Josien Damen.

Additionally, Diep received a LEGO model of an ASD2813 ship, a tugboat for which Van der Leun Vietnam provides all electrical installations. Martin den Breejen jokingly remarked, 'Now we can start building boats ourselves!'

The official opening of the premises was led by (from left to right) Martin den Breejen, Diep Hoang, Le Trung Kien, Arnout Damen, Joris van Tienen, and Anly den Breejen with a symbolic act of touching a large glass sphere, illuminating messages on the large LED spheres.

During the event, recognition was also bestowed upon Diep Hoang, Anh Bui Duc, Khanh Dinh Duc, and Huy Le Thi. These four staff members have been with Van der Leun Vietnam since its inception 10 years ago. They were honored with a special award as a token of appreciation.

The workshop and office in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park span an impressive 2500m², while the office itself covers an area of 750m². Its strategic location near various shipyards offers many benefits.

The new facility seeks to enhance client support, not just within Vietnam, but also across Asia and Australia. It also helps increase the collaboration between the  training school and vocational institute.

Van der Leun Vietnam extends sincere gratitude to all who attended this momentous occasion. Anticipating many years of fruitful collaboration and the attainment of new milestones in the future.
