Since its foundation in 1920, Van der Leun has been a constant factor in shipbuilding, industry and metal.

100 years of craftmanship is rewarded. On April 19, 2021, the Royal award was acknowledged and symbolizes the respect, appreciation and trust of the King.
On June 24, 2021, the official ceremony of the Royal Predicate and the introduction of the Royal logo will take place, accompanied by the King's commissioner Mr. Jaap Smit and mayor Mr. Jan de Vries.
