Electrifying an icon in the Caribbean!
We are proud to contribute to a truly iconic project: the renovation and electrification of the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Today Adrienne Vertooren, director of i_lab, and Heidi Heemskerk, HR advisor at Royal Van der Leun signed a collaboration agreement.
i_lab is a cooperative platform where learning, working and innovation come together. Youth and students are prepared for the professions of tomorrow through inspiration, innovation and knowledge sharing.
Royal van der Leun believes in this message. We want to interest young people in technology by showing them the possibilities.
What exactly happens on the work floor, which people work there and what kind of functions are there? With this collaboration we want to challenge them to shape a vision of a sustainable future in (maritime) technology.
A good idea can just lead to an innovative solution!
i_lab can be found at the regional vocational and innovation campus in Gorinchem, where cooperation between schools and companies in various projects makes new technologies visible and concrete.
We look forward to an innovative collaboration!
