The engineering team of Royal Van der Leun is developing the vessel’s electrical engineering package in close cooperation with Royal IHC. The vessel will be built at Nam Trieu Shipyard in Hai Phong, Vietnam, close to Royal Van der Leun’s local engineering and production branch.
This local presence enables close cooperation with the shipyard and project partners throughout the project, combining international expertise with efficient local support.
With a hopper capacity of approximately 3,000 m³, the Easydredge® 2700XL will be deployed to maintain the navigability of the Congo River and help keep the ports of Boma and Matadi accessible to international shipping.
The project once again demonstrates how Royal Van der Leun combines global presence with local expertise – all over the world.
